Roxanne Nanninga, Founder of Blue Biome Advising, has dedicated her career to building programs and strategy that improve the health of our oceans and global food systems. Roxanne specializes in crafting practical solutions, grounded in science and multistakeholder partnership. She works closely with her clients to tackle climate change, support human rights, improve fishing and farming practices, and enhance supply chain traceability. She has authored multiple leading industry and investor-facing guidance documents for the World Bank IFC, WWF, UN Ocean Stewardship Coalition, Shrimp Forum Foundation, and others, aimed at lowering carbon emissions and building healthier ecosystems. Roxanne holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and International Development from Duke University.
